Our Statement of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice

It has always been the policy of Center for Christian Coaching to maintain a school environment free from unlawful discrimination and to conduct its educational practices, admissions program, as well as its employment practices, on the basis of an individual’s qualifications and abilities without regard to race, color, sex, age, national origin, citizenship status, disability, or any other protected characteristic as established by federal, state, and local law, unless a particular status protected by such law contradicts the deeply held biblical-centered convictions of CCC. This non-discrimination policy applies to those who seek to join the CCC community in any capacity or to those who interact with CCC.

In order to provide you with the minimum required training hours for certification, it is important that you are present at all course meetings. If you have an emergency or become ill and are not able to attend a coaching session, please contact your instructor immediately.

You will be expected to complete the session materials, review the session recording, and complete a coaching session outside the live session to make up for the missed session.

If you need to miss more than 6 hours of the course, you will have the option to work with the instructor to cover the missed material at your own expense or register for another course. If you miss more than 1 hour of mentor coaching, you will need to arrange and pay for individual mentor coaching sessions to complete the required 10 hours of mentor coaching to satisfy the International Coaching Federation requirements.

Petitions to this policy are considered on a case-by-case basis and must be submitted in writing to the instructor and Center for Christian Coaching.

Grievance Policy

The Center for Christian Coaching seeks to ensure equitable treatment of every person and to attempt to solve any grievances in a timely and fair manner. Participants have the right to file a grievance regarding presentation or content, facility concerns, or instructor/faculty behavior. All grievances will be addressed to the best of our ability to prevent further problems. A process for filing grievances can be found below:

A participant should first attempt to resolve the issue directly with the educator/trainer, staff, or participant with whom they have an issue. If participants are not comfortable approaching the individual, they can proceed to step 2.

If participants are not comfortable approaching the individual with whom they have a grievance, or are unable to resolve the issue directly, participants should submit a written grievance to the Director within 5 days. The Director will review the issue and talk to the student within 5 days of receiving the complaint. The Director will work with all parties involved to resolve the issue.

If a participant does not feel the issue is resolved, a written request for an appeal should be sent to Bonnie Weiss at the Center for Christian Coaching for review. This appeal should include the original complaint and reason(s) the participant is unsatisfied with the resolution attempt(s). Appeals are reviewed and a written response will be provided to the participant within 10 days. All appeal decisions are final.

Teach-Out Policy

As we strive to be faithful stewards of our students’ educational investment, we are committed to ensuring continuity of learning should the school ever discontinue operations.

Purpose

The purpose of this Teach-Out Policy is to ensure that students enrolled in the Christian coaching programs of Center for Christian Coaching are treated in a God-honoring manner and provided reasonable opportunities to complete their training in the event that the school ceases operations, discontinues a program, or is otherwise unable to fulfill its educational commitments.

Policy

In the unlikely event that Center for Christian Coaching determines that it will discontinue operations, every effort would be made to complete any current courses. Should circumstances require that we terminate an educational program before currently enrolled students have completed their studies, the school will implement a teach-out plan designed to minimize disruption and protect students’ educational interests.

The teach-out plan may include one or more of the following actions:

  • Program Completion Through the School
    • When feasible, Center for Christian Coaching will continue offering courses and services necessary for currently enrolled students to complete their program requirements within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Access to Academic Records
    • Students will be informed of procedures for obtaining certificates, and other educational records relative to training hours completed. The school will make reasonable arrangements for the secure maintenance and accessibility of student records.
  • Student Communication
    • Students will receive timely written notification regarding the closure or program discontinuation, available options, important deadlines, and contact information for assistance.
  • Financial Considerations
    • Any tuition refunds, fee adjustments, or financial obligations will be handled in accordance with applicable laws, accreditation standards, and institutional policies.

Commitment to Christian Stewardship

As a Christ-centered institution, Center for Christian Coaching is committed to conducting any teach-out process with integrity, transparency, compassion, and respect for every student. We recognize the trust students place in our program and will seek to honor that trust through responsible planning and communication.

Teach-Out Policy Review

This policy shall be reviewed periodically and updated as necessary to ensure compliance with accreditation requirements and best practices in educational administration.
