Leap Year 2024 is upon us and we thought it would be fun to think about some connections
between Leap Year and Christian Life Coaching.
Like Leap Year, Christian Life Coaching encourages individuals to embrace change, take leaps
of faith, and make the most of the time they have been given.
Leap Year reminds us that life is full of unexpected opportunities, like an extra sunrise, an extra
sunset and an extra day. Just as Leap Year disrupts the regular rhythm of the calendar,
Christian life coaching disrupts our routine thinking patterns and encourages us to step out of
our comfort zones. It prompts us to take a leap of faith and embrace new possibilities the Lord
has provided.
Christian Life Coaching, like Leap Year, emphasizes the importance of making the most of the
time we have been given. In the Bible, the apostle Paul writes, "Be very careful, then, how you
live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity because the days are
evil." (Ephesians 5:15-16, NIV).
Christian Life Coaching encourages individuals to be intentional with their time, to set goals, and to pursue their God-given purpose.
Just as Leap Year provides an extra day for reflection and action, Christian Life Coaching offers
individuals the opportunity to pause, reflect, and evaluate their lives. It provides a space for
individuals to assess their strengths, weaknesses, and areas for growth. Through coaching
conversations, individuals can gain clarity on their values, purpose, and develop strategies to
live a more fulfilling and God-purposed life.
Leap Year and Christian Life Coaching share some common themes of embracing change,
taking leaps of faith, and making the most of the time we have been given.
At the Center for Christian Coaching, we embrace the principles of Christian Life Coaching and make the most of the opportunities that come our way.
