After hitting a big pothole in the road, my car began to veer off to the right. I put up with it for a few days, but quickly grew tired of wrestling with the steering wheel. When I took it to the mechanic he said, “You’re out of alignment, lady.” It was a profound statement from my mechanic friend that had way more to do with me than my car.
After being forced to leave a career that I loved, I really had no idea what to do next. I felt out of sorts filled with questions. Had the Lord forgotten about me? Is there anything I can still offer to a hurting world? I felt out of alignment and wondered what the Lord was doing. After much prayer and waiting on God’s direction, He led me to research what it meant to be a Christian Life Coach. The more I read, the more the Lord confirmed this was the next step for me.
I knew it would take work and time to develop the skills, but the Lord began to grow excitement and a dream for this new ministry. I just kept thinking - He may have someone waiting for me to show up. Someone that He would inspire through me to improve their life. What if their purpose is connected to me getting in alignment with my purpose?
If your dream is to make a difference in the lives of others as a Christian Life Coach, then there is a reason God put that dream in your heart. We can't continue to move through life out of alignment. There is something truly beautiful about stepping into our calling and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
What are you waiting for?
